Hair Time!

Sorry guys, but this advice is just for all the ladies out there. There are so many occasions in our life where we have to wear our hair a certain way. I must admit, it can get a bit annoying after a while. Whether it’s up or down, brown or blond, short or long, hair is an important part of a girl’s everyday life. There are so many different hairstyles, sometimes it is hard to decide when and where to wear each hairstyle. I hope the following list helps you decide what to do with that hair of yours!

Interview time
First of all, your potential employer wants to know that they are hiring a professional. Make sure that whatever you do with your hair for an interview, it is professional. It is also a smart idea to make sure that the person can see your eyes easily. Pulling it back is the best option. Going too conservative is not going to be a problem when interviewing for a job. You want to look older, especially if you are still in college or just graduated. The employer wants to know that you are serious about the job.

Class time
Rolled out of bed? No time for a shower? This happens to me all the time. Bad hair days are the worst! So when you are in a rush to class, how do you make your hair still look good without taking much time to do it? My first suggestion is to pull it back either into a braid or a ponytail. A simple braid is easy and still cute. If you throw on a headband, this can hide bedhead and add a bit of flare. Put it back into a messy pony where it is still cute and relaxed but it only takes a few minutes!

Weekend time
Now that class is done for the week, you have a lot more time to get ready. Take all the time you need! If it is just an average weekend for you, I suggest wearing your hair down either curly or straight. There is no need to go to great lengths just to make your hair look better than ever. If it’s just a casual weekend, just wear your hair down and free in a causal and simple way.

Date time
Going on a date or going somewhere formal with friends? This is the time to accessorize the hair and do something crazy with it! There are so many options in this scenario. You can curl it and put it up with a cute headband, or you could a half up half down style with feathers or a bow. Make sure whatever you do goes with your outfit and don’t go too over the top. Beware of too much hair product. Nobody wants to look like a Jersey Shore character with loads of gel and hairspray. Yuck!

Change Time
Are you just sick of your hair altogether? There are a number of things you can do with it. You can chop it off if it’s long. If you don’t want to do something that drastic, you can just get it trimmed and layered. You can also buy some inexpensive hair dye and dye it a new color! Usually they wash out pretty quick so it would just be temporary. Recently, there has been a trend where girls put feather extensions in their hair. I tried it out for a bit and I loved it!

Whatever your style is, doing hair can be a pain but it can also be fun. Consider yourself lucky. Most boys don’t have as many options as girls do when it comes to hair!
