This is one of those mommy moments that just melt my heart. Lately everyday my daughter wants to dress up in her princess outfits, wears her crown, slippers, magic wand and all. Yesterday, I’m sitting at my desk working and she comes over to me and says “You’re a princess mommy” and she places the little silver plastic crown on my head and say “mommy, you’re pretty”.
So of course, I said thank you, gave her a big hug and wore my crown and worked the rest of the afternoon as a princess. But I felt even more special than a princess. That is one of those moments when you wish they’ never grow up and you realize just how big their little hearts are.
