Have a girl’s night and get your friends over for a cooking fest! Whether you are celebrating a new job, or a new baby, you will have fun cooking with your girlfriends. Girlfriends are very important and cooking together can build an even stronger bond between all of you. You can all plan to do different jobs to make one big meal, or you can all bring recipes and food items over and work along side of each other. Cooking is a great way to relieve stress and to enjoy general chit chat and conversation with your girlfriends. Whatever the case, you are bound to have fun!!!
You can plan and start a weekly or monthly cooking night for all of you. You can even start a cooking club with your girlfriends. Here are some tips on how to build a cooking club with your gal pals.
*Make your cooking club fun! It is not meant to be serious and you and your friends should have loads of laughs. Play music, have drinks, and have some snacks laid out for your friends. Everyone will have a time where they will play the host of the cooking club. The host is the one who provides the cooking plan for the night. They contact the members and provide the recipe items needed, and the cooking equipment that will be needed. You can even turn these cooking fiestas into theme nights such as Mexican, Italian or French!
*The cooking club should have a maximum of 4 people. This is so that the food amount that is cooked will be enough. You will want leftovers and it is also good to keep a certain amount of space in the kitchen to avoid accidents.
*Make sure to choose and buy the right amount of ingredients as you don’t want to go overboard, and have ingredient leftovers n the fridge.
*Make sure your group of girlfriends are spaced out in the kitchen. It is good for everyone to have their own designated spot. One friend might chop vegetables and the other one might cut the meat. Someone might take care of the seasoning and another can prep the dishes for cooking.
*You and your girlfriends are going to need a lot of equipment so it is best for the host to make a list before each cooking night and make sure everyone will bring what they need.
*Most important: HAVE FUN, LISTEN TO MUSIC AND ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
