Growing up with six brothers and sisters Christmas was chaotic, but filled with memories. I remember that my favorite part about Christmas was my Christmas stocking. I would sneak out to the Christmas tree first thing in the morning before sunrise and check my Christmas stocking. A couple of times I even reached inside and pulled one or two things out. I quickly tucked them back inside though before I was caught. I knew it was not a good thing to do, but I just could not resist.
I received some of my most treasured items in that Christmas stocking. As a typical girly-girl I learned early in my years that good things came in small boxes. Pulling out a small box more than once from my Christmas stocking I had to catch my breath because I knew that it was something that I simply adored.
If you have children do not forget how important the Christmas stocking can be. Some great things to fill their stockings with need not cost you a great deal of money. There are all sorts of trinkets that your child would love to have. Dollar store items are inexpensive and your kids will delight in them.
